Hybrid Summer Workshop 2023

Hydrolocal? What's that?

This summer CoderDojo Tucson will be partnering with Watershed Management Group for a seven-week hybrid (virtual and in-person) workshop series to explore the idea of hydrolocalism.

What does it mean to be hydrolocal? Join us this summer to find out! The workshops start on Monday, 5 June 2023, and will be held Monday-Friday from 9am-12pm — except for a week off from 3-7 July 2023.

Here are some of the things we'll be doing:

• Virtual workshop: Introduction to hydrolocalism
• Virtual workshop: Tell your water story with Twine
• Virtual workshop: Create your game about water with Scratch
• Virtual workshop: Make your water future with Minecraft
• In-person workshop: Collect and use data to understand hydrolocalism
• In-person workshop: Connect with native flora and fauna
• In-person workshop: Create your own hydrolocal project
